Tori Moore

EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

My name is Tori Moore. I joined The Bluffs family as the Assistant Administrator in 2021 and am now the Executive Director. I was born in Missouri but grew up in Alabama. I moved back to Missouri in 2009 and have been working in long-term care ever since. I have experience in administration, finance, social work, marketing, and human resources–all in the long-term care setting. I received my administrator’s license in June of 2022. I absolutely love my job! I have a heart for serving and cannot imagine a better place to do it. In my spare time I draw and paint (I’ve even sold a few pictures). I am a volunteer with Volunteer for Veterans. I also serve on the security team and outreach team at my church. I have three beautiful children, two boys and a girl. My oldest son has made me a proud Army mom and a “Nina” to the most adorable grandson in the world!

Ranshell Harrington

Director of Nursing

My name is Ranshell Harrington, and I’m proud to serve as Director of Nursing here at The Bluffs. With over 15 years of experience in nursing and 7 of those years in managerial and director-level roles, I bring both clinical expertise and a deep passion for compassionate care. I’ve had the privilege of growing both personally and professionally through every step of my journey. Returning to The Bluffs feels like coming home. I truly love this community, and I’m excited to bring positive energy, light, and support to both our residents and staff. My goal is to make a real difference here. Outside of work I am a proud mom of 3 amazing boys who are the absolute light of my life. I also love spending time with my family, friends, and I’m always eager to learn and grow, both personally and professionally.

CLINICAL LIAISON

I am Kayla Twenter and I am the Clinical Liaison at the Bluffs. I joined this role at the Bluffs in April 2022, previously working at this facility, in the Therapy Department, as an Occupational Therapy Assistant for 6 years. I have enjoyed working in skilled nursing and acute care. I enjoy reading, being outside and shopping. Outside of work, I am a Momma to two kiddos – Ada and Stetson and married to my husband Shane. Long Term Care is where my heart is!

Amanda Brown

Director of Human Resources

My name is Amanda Brown and I am the Human Resource Director. I joined Team Bluffs in 2015 after graduating from the University of Missouri with a Bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences. Prior to joining our H.R. team, I was Admissions Director. I began my journey at The Bluffs as a care coordinator for long-term care and memory care. I am passionate about helping others and serving as a resource to my community. When not at work, I am a fur-mama to my dogs Remi and Max. I love scrapbooking & crafting in my spare time. My husband, Matt, and I are season ticket members for the Kansas City Chiefs.

Julia Fairchild

Finance Director,
Business Office Manager

My name is Julia Fairchild. I have been the Finance Director and Business Office Manager at The Bluffs since 2021. I joined The Bluffs team after finishing my Bachelor’s Degree from Columbia College with no background in long-term care. I fell in love with this facility and all that it stands for, trying to use my skills and resources to help residents in my own community every day. Outside of work I enjoy going to live music shows with my husband, caring for my three pets, and growing asparagus with my family and friends.

Tiara Patrick

Administrative Assistant

My name is Tiara Patrick. I’ve been the Administrative Assistant since October 2024, and I absolutely love my role! My passion for health care service led me to earn my Associate’s degree in Healthcare Administration from Bryan University. Working at The Bluffs has provided me many opportunities to grow professionally and help others. Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my family, going to church, watching sports, and being at home. I am a proud mom of three children: Martez, R’Moni, and Envy’. My children are my greatest blessings.

Shana Parrish

Wound Care Nurse

I am Shana Parrish, Wound Care Nurse for The Bluffs. I rejoined the team in early 2024 after working elsewhere for some time. Helping our residents with their wound care needs is extremely rewarding! I have two adult sons and five grandchildren. Family is everything to me and my fiancé. I enjoy racing go-karts and spending time at Truman Lake during the summer. I am a dog-mom to Sissy–my sweet Boston Terrier. My life is filled with the things that matter most: love, family, and adventure!

Tricia Cunningham

Health Services Manager

I am Tricia Cunningham, a Columbia native and proud nurse since 2012. My career in nursing not only fulfills me, but also enables me to make a difference in the lives of others. I’m a proud mother of four–three beautiful daughters and a spirited son. When I’m not working, my family and I enjoy kayaking, hiking, and outdoor adventures. My husband and I participate in a pinball league as well. I am excited to provide high-quality care for our residents!

CARE COORDINATOR FOR Elm & OAK,
SHORT TERM REHAB UNIT

My name is Janell Irvin and I am the Care Coordinator for Oak, our Short Term Rehab unit. I have worked in Long Term Care for about 35 years. I joined the Bluffs Team in 2021. I began my journey as an Activities Assistant when I was in college and fell into the Social Services role when someone went on maternity leave and that’s where I found my niche. I love getting to know residents and families navigate the long term care journey. My favorite part of my job is helping those who are safely able to return home get there.   I am married to Rob and we have 2 sons, Bryce and Spencer.

Cassandra Beechwood-Hall

Care Coordinator for Cherry, Maple & Walnut

My name is Cassandra “Cass” Beechwood-Hall and I am the Care Coordinator for Cherry Hill, Walnut Grove, and Maple Lane! I am from Kansas City and moved to Columbia in 2020 to get my MSW with a certificate in Gerontological Social Work. I have worked at The Bluffs since January 2022 when I started as Social Services Intern. My favorite part of working in long-term care is helping residents use their unique set of strengths to achieve their goals. I love getting to know the residents and their families as we navigate the long-term care journey together. When I am not at work I enjoy going on nature walks, listening to live music, and traveling as much as I can!

DIRECTOR OF LIFE ENRICHMENT

I am Erica Utterback, and I am the Director of Life Enrichment. I have worked at the Bluffs since 2001. I began working as an NA, then CNA and on to many different roles such as the Scheduling Coordinator, Restorative Therapy Aide, Activity Assistant and then on to my current role as Director of Life Enrichment. In my free time I am a fur mama, enjoy going on hikes, camping, telling jokes and billiards. I like to live by the saying, “Growing old is inevitable, but growing up is optional.”

Director of Plant Operations

Welcome to The Bluffs! I am Nic, the Director of Plant Operations. I take pride in keeping teams, equipment, and processes running smoothly while making this a welcoming environment for our residents each day. I was raised right here in Columbia, MO. As both a former U.S. Marine and veteran small business owner, I’m a firm believer that all operations start with highly-motivated team members. I have been married to my wife since 2012; we have two wonderful children. Working at The Bluffs has been such a fulfilling journey for my family, because we feel like a part of a bigger family here.

Latonya Nichols

Environmental Services

I am Latonya Nichols, the Director of Environmental Services. I have worked at The Bluffs since 2013; I started my journey as a weekend housekeeping attendant and have also worked in laundry and in the kitchen as a Line Cook. My passion lies in environmental services. I enjoy greeting our residents daily as well as finding the item that was thought to be lost. I have 4 children: Laquita, Romello, Gabriel, and Lillian. I’m glad to say one of my children shares my passion for caring for our elders and works at The Bluffs with me!

Kendra Madison

Associate Director Of
Dining Services

I am Kendra Madison, the Associate Director of Dining Services. I have worked in long-term care for more than 20 years and joined Team Bluffs in January of 2025. I began my career in dining services as a Server and have also been a Cook and Dining Assistant Director. I am currently back in school to get my CDM certification. I enjoy working in dining services and ensuring that our residents are provided good, quality meals. In my free time I like to spend time with my grandchildren, watching them grow and making special memories.
