Meet the people who make it all possible
My name is Tori Moore. I joined The Bluffs family as the Assistant Administrator in 2021 and am now the Executive Director. I was born in Missouri but grew up in Alabama. I moved back to Missouri in 2009 and have been working in long-term care ever since. I have experience in administration, finance, social work, marketing, and human resources–all in the long-term care setting. I received my administrator’s license in June of 2022. I absolutely love my job! I have a heart for serving and cannot imagine a better place to do it. In my spare time I draw and paint (I’ve even sold a few pictures). I am a volunteer with Volunteer for Veterans. I also serve on the security team and outreach team at my church. I have three beautiful children, two boys and a girl. My oldest son has made me a proud Army mom and a “Nina” to the most adorable grandson in the world!

My name is Julia Fairchild. I have been the Finance Director and Business Office Manager at The Bluffs since 2021. I joined The Bluffs team after finishing my Bachelor’s Degree from Columbia College with no background in long-term care. I fell in love with this facility and all that it stands for, trying to use my skills and resources to help residents in my own community every day. Outside of work I enjoy going to live music shows with my husband, caring for my three pets, and growing asparagus with my family and friends.
My name is Janell Irvin and I am the Care Coordinator for Oak, our Short Term Rehab unit. I have worked in Long Term Care for about 35 years. I joined the Bluffs Team in 2021. I began my journey as an Activities Assistant when I was in college and fell into the Social Services role when someone went on maternity leave and that’s where I found my niche. I love getting to know residents and families navigate the long term care journey. My favorite part of my job is helping those who are safely able to return home get there. I am married to Rob and we have 2 sons, Bryce and Spencer.
My name is Cassandra “Cass” Beechwood-Hall and I am the Care Coordinator for Cherry Hill, Walnut Grove, and Maple Lane! I am from Kansas City and moved to Columbia in 2020 to get my MSW with a certificate in Gerontological Social Work. I have worked at The Bluffs since January 2022 when I started as Social Services Intern. My favorite part of working in long-term care is helping residents use their unique set of strengths to achieve their goals. I love getting to know the residents and their families as we navigate the long-term care journey together. When I am not at work I enjoy going on nature walks, listening to live music, and traveling as much as I can!
